You don't always need to purchase a full slab. RW Gallion sells available Granite, Quartz, Quartzite, Porcelain, Dekton and Soapstone remnants and mini slabs for appropriately sized projects.
They can be a practical fit for bathroom vanities, laundry rooms, wet bars, coffee bars, desktops, fireplace details and small countertops. Availability, color and dimensions change, so bring your approximate measurements when you contact us.

A remnant is a usable piece left after a larger countertop project is cut from a full slab. People also call larger pieces mini slabs. The material is not second-grade; it is a smaller piece of the same Granite, Quartz, Quartzite, Porcelain, Dekton or Soapstone used for full-size projects.

A remnant can reduce material waste and may lower the material portion of a small project. It is only a good value when its actual dimensions, color, veining and condition fit the job. Fabrication, edge finishing, cutouts, delivery and installation still require skilled work.

  • Bathroom vanity countertops
  • Laundry-room and utility-room counters
  • Wet bars and coffee bars
  • Desktops, tabletops and small work surfaces
  • Fireplace details, shelves and specialty pieces
  • Small kitchen sections or compact rental projects when the dimensions work
Bring approximate length and depth measurements, the sink or fixture information, and photographs of the space. On-site digital templating comes later. A rough plan lets us quickly rule out pieces that are too small or whose veining cannot be positioned properly.
Remnant and mini-slab colors, materials and sizes are not permanent inventory. Call before visiting if you need a particular material or color. We will be straightforward if a full slab is the safer or more economical choice for the finished project.
